Please reach us at info@slipstreamtherapy.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We will book an initial 50 minute, assessment, to discuss your concerns and what has prompted you to come to therapy. We will touch on your medical history and background, so I can get to know you a little better. You will be able to ask me any questions you have.
If we decide to work together, we can explore your thoughts, how you feel or react to things or possibly habits and in-built behaviours.
If we are not the right fit, I have access to a team of other specialists through Slipstream Therapy, I can refer you onto.
We can work towards things such as improving your productivity, your emotional states, relationship difficulties and mental clarity.
I work in person and online from Sydney's Eastern Suburbs as well as online in the UK and New Zealand.
All sessions are 50 minutes.
Traditionally, therapy clients opt for weekly sessions, however, for some, I understand this is not always possible. I offer both ad hoc/single sessions as well as the option of the same time, weekly sessions.
How Many?
I usually suggest a set of 6-8 sessions to begin and for us to reassess as we go. Some people just want a one off reset - others benefit from therapy as a long-term option, when deeper issues arise.
We can discuss this openly and regularly, to work with your unique life experiences.
There is no type. Counselling is for all those that have chosen to heal and grow.
Whatever your culture, religion, gender, sexual orientation, employment group, or story – I welcome you.
Yes. I am committed to keeping your confidence - with a few exceptions – such as making sure you and those around you are safe.
I uphold the ethical framework of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

No. Counselling is a very personal experience. Slipstream Therapy offers a confidential "contact us and book" system. There is no need for a GP referral.
As soon as you get in touch, we will have a free phone chat with you about what's going on for you. If we are the right service, we will offer you the first suitable appointment time.
Easy.
Yes, that's totally understandable. It can be daunting to ask for help. But well worth it once you take the leap!
Counsellors are trained and caring people. Simply, we have oodles of empathy and your best interests at heart. We are here to listen and help you. No judgement.
And you can start or stop at any point.
It's OK to be uncertain and still give it a try.
Counsellors are not currently covered by medicare and we keep our prices affordable to reflect this. We don't work with health funds - just directly with you - our client.
